Welcome to my website! I am an Associate Professor at the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam of the Departments of Medical Informatics and Radiology of the Erasmus MC - University Medical Center Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, where I am leading the theme group on Cellular and Molecular Image Analysis. An overview of my former positions can be found in my brief biography. Contact information can be found in the address section. It is also possible to search my website.

My research interests include image processing, image analysis, and computer vision, and their application to challenging problems in biology and medicine. More information on my activities can be found in the publications, presentations, projects, services, teaching, and software sections. Currently my main goal is to develop accurate and robust image segmentation and tracking algorithms for the analysis of dynamic processes from in vivo cellular and molecular imaging data.
